03010-6 Sikorsky SH-3D Sea King Uitverkoop

The Sikorsky Sea King helicopter currently in service with the U.S. Navy and now selected for production in Britain. Sonar wquipment, torpedos and depth charges are all included in this highly detailed kit.

This is the famous helicopter “Sixty-Six” used to recover the astronauts from the sea after each Appollo mission. The kit is complete with Appollo mission markings and an astronaut being winched on board.

Dit is een airfix Type 5 box uitgebracht tussen 1978 en 1983 ,deze bouwdoos is rond de 28 tot 32 jaar oud.

De SH-3D werd in 1969 door Airfix uit gebracht.
