In 1994 Volvo received the Truck of the Year award for its new FH-12/16 series. The most important criteria for this award were a modern, economical engine, a safe drivers cabin and powerful brakes. The Globetrotter is the most popular version of these trucks. It features a high cabin including a comfortable sleepercab.The FH-series can be equipped with either 12 or 16 liter engines with an output of 340 to 520 HP. In order to save fuel carrying high-volume trailers all Fh-cabins have adjustable spoilers.
